She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Emma Legath, 80, Of Dobbs Ferry DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. -- Emma Legath, 80, of Dobbs Ferry, died Oct. 13. She was born in Austria and came to the United States in 1960. They settled in the Bronx and moved to Dobbs Ferry in 2001.  She was a chef at Castle Harbor Casino in the Bronx for many years. She was a member of the Austrian Club in Queens.  Surviving is her husband Martin, son Herbert and his wife Barbara, and grandchildren Ryan, Richard and Emily.  She was predeceased by her daughter Heidi in 1988 and her grandson Erik in 2006.  Send memorials to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Westchester Chapter, 200 Mamaroneck Ave., …

The Field Library Celebrates 'Make A Difference Day' For Children PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- “Make a Difference Day” is being celebrated at The Field Library in Peekskill from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Children of all ages are invited to pick out a free stack of books for their home library.
