She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

Bogota Girl Scouts Sponsor Blood Drive Linked To Library Book Donation BOGOTA, N.J. -- Bogota Girl Scout Jr. Troop 94500 is sponsoring a blood drive Friday, Nov. 27, from 1-5 p.m. at the Bogota Recreation Center, 162 West Main St.  For each donation, Community Blood Services will donate a free book to the local library.  The group will do this along with the theme of give red for Black Friday.  Walk-ins are welcome to the event but those can also schedule appointments in advance.  The group wants to remind the community that every drop counts. Galt, of Stamford, a retired businessman and teacher, has died at the age of 95. Born in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Gladys Galt.
