Albany Man Smashes Car Window, Blasts Victim With Bottle: Police
An Albany man punched out a car window and drilled a passenger with a glass bottle in a nighttime assault, police said Thursday, April 16.
Darrin Brown, 30, struck the victim’s car on Kate Street near Whitehall Road around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, the Albany Police Department said in an alert.
After smashing the window, Brown picked up a glass bottle and threw it at the victim, striking him in the head, cops said. Brown then went to Albany Medical Center for treatment on the cut on his arm from punching out the window, according to investigators.

A fugitive accused of choking a woman and pulling a gun on her has been caught after a months-long manhunt in Maryland, authorities announced.
Rome Delmar Watkins, 27, of Waldorf, was taken into custody on Tuesday, Sept. 16, after members of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, the US Marshals Service, and the US Park Police tracked him down.
Watkins had been wanted since April 20, when deputies said he assaulted a woman inside a Waldorf home after being asked to leave.
