New details have been released after a 23-year-old Maryland man became the latest victim of gun violence in Washington, DC. The Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch is seeking the public's assistance in locating the gunman who is wanted for the murder of Lanham resident Keshon Cornish, who was killed earlier this week. Detectives were called shortly before 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19 to the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue in Northeast, DC, where there was a report of a shooting in the area. Flying Truck Lodges Itself Into Side Of Lanham Home
A Lanham home is left with a massive hole after a large vehicle slammed into it earlier today, authorities say. Around 1:45pm, Friday, Dec. 30, the Prince George's County Fire Department responded to the 7600 block of Finns Lane after reports of a vehicle in a house. Upon arrival, first responders witnessed a vehicle that had become airborne and lodged itself into the side of the home. A Middle River man has been charged with murder in connection to the June death of a Lanham victim, authorities say. Ja'Quan Green, 21, was arrested Thursday, July 7, for the killing of Daniel James Harris, 20, according to the Prince George's County police department. A 20-year-old driver died in a crash on a street on "Good Luck Road" this week in Prince George's County. Chris Brian Orellana, of Lanham, was heading east when he lost control of his car and crossed the double yellow line, hitting a westbound minivan around 8:35 p.m. on June 28, PGPD said.
