A New Jersey high school track coach and his wife have been identified as the two people killed when their SUV crashed into a home and caught fire Saturday, Jan. 17.
Clearview High School track coach Thomas "Tom" Hengel, 72, was behind the wheel of a 2020 Hyundai Palisade, with his wife Lisa Hengel, 61, in the passenger seat, when the vehicle accelerated, struck a curb, crossed two front yards, and crashed into the side of a home on Banff Drive with enough force to go through the wall and into the home’s living room around 6:15 p.m., local police said.

Blaze Erupts At Leesburg Building Before Dawn, Drawing Multi-County Response
A massive metal building in Virginia went up in flames before dawn Saturday, sending firefighters from across two states racing to the scene.
Fire crews were called shortly after 3:30 a.m. to the 13000 block of Loyalty Road in the Catoctin District in Leesburg, according to Loudoun County Fire and Rescue.
Units from Lucketts, Hamilton, Purcellville, Leesburg, Lovettsville, and Frederick County in Maryland responded after callers reported a structure fire.
