A U.S. Postal Service worker was charged after allegedly shoving a 4-year-old child to the ground in Ramapo, which was captured on video, authorities said.
Gabriel Stan, 39, of Stony Point, was charged following an incident in the Viola section of Ramapo, according to the Ramapo Police Department.
The incident occurred on Thursday, March 19 at approximately 6:25 p.m., police said. Following an investigation, authorities determined Stan intentionally shoved the child while performing his duties, police said.

The child’s mother, 26-year-old Farhiya Gaal, and her boyfriend, 24-year-old Lameik Wilson, were both indicted Monday on second-degree murder charges, the Greene County District Attorney’s office said in a Facebook post.

A Long Island man is facing murder charges after he allegedly stabbed his estranged wife to death and injured a teenage relative before turning the knife on himself, police said.
Marcos Marques-Leal, 57, was arrested following the Thursday night, Feb. 12, attack at a residence on Granny Road in Farmingville, according to Suffolk County Police.
