A Brooklyn man was arrested after allegedly attempting to collect $30,000 from an elderly victim in a scam that was foiled by police in Orange County.
The incident unfoldedin New Windsor on Tuesday, April 14, when police responded to a local bank after an elderly man reported receiving a suspicious phone call from someone claiming to be an Apple representative, New Windsor Police said on Thursday, April 16.
