Gerhard Frobart, 89, of Farmingdale, was driving a 2001 Ford Taurus southbound with Ella Gimpel, 88, of East Meadow, as his passenger when the car veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole, police said. One Injured After Truck Crashes Into Home In Elizabeth: Authorities One person was injured in a chaotic scene after a two-vehicle crash resulted in a truck crashing into a home in Elizabeth on the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 24, authorities said.
