A vehicle overturned and a utility pole was down closing a major roadway in Gloucester County. The crash occurred at about 3:40 p.m. on Friday, June 21 on Route 322 west of Route 45 in Harrison Township, according to the NJ DOT. All lanes were closed, 511nj.org reported.

A driver was rescued from their car and taken to a hospital after striking a utility pole in Northern Westchester, causing live power lines to fall on their vehicle. The crash happened on Monday, June 17 around 2 p.m., when a vehicle struck a utility pole on Knowlton Avenue in Mount Kisco, according to the Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department. An occupant was ejected when one SUV hit a house and another a utility pole in a fierce collision in Maywood, authorities said. One of the vehicles was knocked onto its side in the crash at the corner of East Passaic and Elm streets around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, June 16. Police ID Porsche Driver, 41, Killed In NJ Crash
A 41-year-old North Brunswick man was killed when he crashed a Porsche in Linden the evening of Friday, June 14, authorities said. At 6:45 p.m., a Porsche Boxter driven by Justin Harmon lost control while traveling south on S. Park Avenue and veered into the northbound lane, Linden police said. The vehicle struck a utility pole and continued off the roadway before colliding with a parked cargo trailer, police said. Harmon was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau.

A tractor-trailer crashed into a utility pole in Monmouth County, shutting down a road for more than 12 hours, officials said. Route 4 Reopens Nearly 12+ Hours After Crash Downs Wires In Teaneck
Route 4 has reopened more than 12 hours after a crash downed a pole and live wires in Teaneck, police said. Sometime after 8 a.m. on Sunday, June 2, a crash took down a pole in the westbound lanes near River Road, local police said. All lanes were closed with traffic getting by in one lane on the eastbound side, police said. At 9:30 p.m., Teaneck police announced the roadway had been reopened and all repairs had been made. A driver was hospitalized after he struck a utility pole in Warren County on Saturday, May 18, authorities said. At 9:37 a.m., a Toyota passenger vehicle lost directional control and crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Belvidere Road and Dutt Lane in Harmony Township, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State police said. Two people were killed in separate crashes in South Brunswick including a motorist from South River and a motorcyclist from Pennsylvania, authorities said.
