A tractor trailer crash on I-66 in Fauquier County caused miles of backups Friday morning, May 17, the VDOT site shows. It happened at mile marker 24.8, closing all westbound lanes. Traffic backups were 3 miles as of press time.

State officials have announced that tens of millions of dollars are set to fund much-needed improvements on a well-traveled but neglected thoroughfare in Northern Westchester. A man was hospitalized after he jumped from an overpass near Route 78 in Newark on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 23. At 4:13 p.m., police responded to the Fabyan Bridge Route 78 near Lyons Avenue after receiving calls of a man threatening to jump, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Multi-Car Crash Causes 7-Mile Backup On I-95 In Stafford
A multi-vehicle crash caused heavy delays along I-95 in northern Virginia on Friday morning, April 19. The VDOT site says the northbound crash happened near milepost 147.5 in Stafford, right behind the Stafford/Quantico Courtyard Marriott.
