Employee Details Hostage Situation In Lawnside ShopRite
A ShopRite employee has detailed the situation the brought a major police presence to a New Jersey ShopRite on Saturday night, Oct. 12. A Lawnside ShopRite employee said a couple was arguing loudly around 6:50 p.m. The man was holding a knife to his female partner's stomach, the employee said. Multiple agencies arrived around 7 p.m. One agency brought K9 units, which the employee said helped apprehend the man, who came out on a stretcher, the employee said. Barrington police said only that one person was arrested.

Woman Arrested For Fatal Annapolis Parking Lot Shooting Hours Later, Police Say
It didn't take long for members of the Annapolis Police Department to apprehend a murder suspect wanted in connection to the fatal public shooting of a 59-year-old woman. On Thursday night, officers were called to the 1700 block of Forest Drive to investigate a reported homicide, where they found Allison Faye McIntyre suffering from a gunshot wound inside her vehicle in a parking lot. Five people from Ocean County were accused of selling heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamine, authorities said. Police in Cape May County were investigating two swatting incidents in Avalon, authorities said.
