A woman on Long Island who allegedly made more than $70,000 worth of unauthorized charges on her company’s credit card was busted with an illegal handgun in her truck during an investigation into her misdeeds, police said.
In Suffolk County, officers responded to Cassone Leasing on Lakeland Avenue in Ronkonkoma shortly before 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, where there was a report of an employee making charges on the company credit card without proper authority.

Paterson detectives nabbed three armed men in a car reported stolen out of Clifton, authorities said.
Detectives Suquan Gary, Levis Qirjako and Luis Roca spotted the 2019 Toyota Corolla -- which had been stolen the day before -- stopped at a light at the corner of Bridge Street and Memorial Drive, city Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.

UPDATE: A South Jersey ex-con found with dozens of guns, high-capacity magazines and ammo admitted having others buy guns for him, federal authorities said.
Darick Nollett, 32, who lives in Cumberland County near the Delaware Bay, caught the attention of law enforcement when he bought a “fuel filter” – a device commonly used to silence firearms -- from China, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said.
