A newly released police video shows the moment a SEPTA rider pulled out a pistol and opened fire at a teenager, say authorities. It happened on Wednesday, May 24, around 11 p.m., said city police. The bus was on the 5200 block of Germantown Avenue when the suspect got into a "verbal argument" with a 15-year-old commuter, authorities wrote. Two Commuters Shot On SEPTA Bus: Philadelphia PD
Two men were hospitalized with gunshot wounds after being shot on a SEPTA bus Wednesday afternoon, Philadelphia police told Daily Voice. It happened near the corner of North 21 and West Diamond Streets in North Philadelphia, city police said. One victim, 18, received a single bullet to the "groin," authorities wrote. The other, also 18, was said to have a graze wound on his left thigh. Both men were taken to Temple Hospital and are now in stable condition, police said. No arrest has been made and no weapon was recovered from the scene, they added.

Philadelphia police have released the name of the teenager shot and killed on a SEPTA platform over the weekend. Authorities were called to the station at the corner of South 52nd Street and Market Street around 2:10 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 for a report of a person with a gun, the department told Daily Voice. Man Killed By SEPTA Train In Philadelphia
A man was struck and killed by a SEPTA train early Sunday, April 23 in Philadelphia, authorities said. The accident happened around 5 a.m. on the northbound side of the subway tracks of the Snyder Station on the Broad Street Line, a SEPTA spokeswoman said. Police, fire, and emergency medical crews immediately responded. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
