Mahwah officers assisted Upper Saddle Police Department in detaining a "possibly wanted individual" at Home Depot on Route 17 just before 5 p.m., Mahwah Lt. Michael Blondin said. Aviation Repair Shop Damaged By Vehicle That Rolled Off Tow Truck On Route 17 In Has Heights
A truck being towed down Route 17 fell off the tow truck and seriously damaged a building overnight, firefighters said. The Hasbrouck Heights and Wood-Ridge fire departments were called to the southbound side of the highway around midnight. There, they found the antique truck into the side of Miraj Corporation, an aircraft repair company, at 345 Route 17. While no injuries were reported, the impact caused significant damage to the building, the fire department said.
