A 40-year-old man was arrested after a DUI crash outside police headquarters in Rochelle Park that sent a 27-year-old woman to the hospital, authorities said.
The collision happened Friday, Aug. 8, at 12:51 p.m. on West Passaic Street in front of police headquarters, according to Rochelle Park Police Capt. James DePreta.
Officers arrived to find a rear-end crash involving two disabled vehicles, police said. The second driver, a 27-year-old woman, was taken to a local hospital with neck pain, according to police.

A Culpeper man is behind bars after allegedly flashing a gun, fleeing from police, and smashing into another driver during a reckless highway pursuit, officials said.
Scott L. Wilks, 60, of Culpeper, was arrested after he allegedly sparked a fight at a business on the 700 block of Nalles Mill Road and then took off — armed and intoxicated — before crashing into another vehicle, the Culpeper Police Department said.

Unsafe Lane Change Leads To DWI Charge For Morristown Woman: Denville PD
A 36-year-old Morristown woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Denville on Sunday, Aug. 3, authorities said.
At 2:34 a.m., officers observed a vehicle making an unsafe lane change while traveling westbound on Route 10, Denville police said.
During a traffic stop, the driver, Faith Altiner, exhibited signs of impairment, police said. Altiner failed several field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, police said.
Altiner was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving and unsafe lane change, police said.
