The fire began on Sunday, Feb. 4 around 10:15 a.m. at a two-and-a-half-story residence on Orchard Street in Peekskill, according to the city's fire department.  Arriving fire crews soon found heavy flames coming from the rear of the wood-frame building and began stretching a hose line to begin dousing the blaze.
