What's In A Name?: Fredericksburg Woman Who Faked Identity, Arrested
A woman fled from law enforcement in Fredericksburg, when officers discovered she was faking her identity, officials said. At around 2:50 p.m. on August 7, Claire Kaus gave officers a fake name, birth date, and social security number in the area of the Red Roof Inn on Warrenton Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
When police questioned Kaus, who had violated her probation, she messed up a fake social security number twice and proceeded to flee from the officer, authorities said.

Driver With Warrant Flees After Lehigh Valley Crash: Slate Belt Police
A driver with an active New Jersey warrant fled from police after getting into a crash in the Lehigh Valley, authorities said.
Brandon R. Russ, 38, was involved in a multi-vehicle crash near 56 N. Lehigh Avenue in Wind Gap around 3:40 a.m. on Sunday, July 10, Slate Belt Regional Police said in a release on Monday, July 25.
As officers were on their way to the crash scene, Russ drove off, police said.
A follow-up investigation found that Russ had an active warrant out of New Jersey.

A driver wanted on outstanding warrants was jailed after he brawled with New Milford police, kicked an EMT and spit in an officer’s face, authorities said.
Thomas Overton, 19, of the Bronx had no license, registration – or even license plates -- when Officer Daniel O’Neill stopped him in a BMW on New Milford Avenue near Main Street shortly before 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Capt. Kevin Van Saders said.
Overton immediately “became confrontational with the officer and would not provide the requested paperwork,” the captain said.
