'Happy Gilmore 2', Filmed All Over NJ, Premieres Friday
The 29-year wait is almost over.
"Happy Gilmore 2," the long awaited sequel to the Adam Sandler golf comedy classic will begin streaming on Netflix on Friday, July 25. In the sequel, Happy Gilmore returns to the sport to pay for his daughter Vienna's ballet school, according to a synopsis.
The movie features the return of Sandler, Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald as the iconic Shooter McGavin and Ben Stiller as the malevolent nursing home aide. Joining the cast are Bad Bunny, Margaret Qualley, Travis Kelly and professional wrestlers Becky Lynch and MJF.

Luke Lyons, an officer in the Millburn Police Department, has been identified as the victim of a crash on Route 15 in Morris County on Sunday, May 19, authorities confirmed.
Lyons, 31, was in a four-door 2006 Honda Civic when he crashed on the southbound side of the roadway near mile post 3.5 around 1:25 a.m., Jefferson Township Police Capt. Robert Bush said.

The Millburn Deli gave its customers quite a scare with an announcement that ended up being an April Fool's Day joke.
On Sunday, March 31, the iconic deli, which has locations in Millburn, Morristown, Montclair and Westfield, told customers on Facebook it was being sold to Jersey Mike's.
Customers freaked out until the deli, a Millburn institution since 1946, revealed the ruse.

Thousands of New Jersey residents were without power after a round of powerful afternoon storms swept through the region.
The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for much of the region through 11 p.m., and that comes after a round of quarter-sized hail and gusty winds.
