The death of one of the region's most successful soccer coaches has left Northern Virginia grieving.
Ken Krieger, of Manassas, died Monday, March 4. He was 69 years old.

Krieger's brother, Scott, said he died of Alzheimer's, "a dreaded disease that first robbed him of his mind, then proceeded to shut down his body.
"He will missed not only by his family, but by the many students, players, coaches, teachers, colleagues and friends whose lives he touched," Scott said. …
Home Invaders Charged With Abduction During Violent Virginia Burglary
Police in Fairfax County pulled out all the stops to apprehend two men who are wanted in connection to a violent home robbery.
Elijah Thomas, 24, and Jaquan Ross, 32, are facing multiple abduction, robbery, and other charges after busting into a McLean home earlier this week and assaulting two people inside, officials say.
At around 5:45 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, officers from the Fairfax County Police Department were called to the 1300 block of Spring Hill Road, where three men reportedly forced their way into a home brandishing a gun and demanded money.
