Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Train In Mercer County
A man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a shuttle train in Mercer County Tuesday night, authorities said. The man was struck by the Princeton Dinky shuttle train No. 4177 near the Princeton Station in West Windsor shortly before 10 p.m., NJ Transit spokesperson Jim Smith told DailyVoice.com. The train was traveling westbound and was scheduled to arrive at Princeton Station at 9:59 p.m., Smith said. A man and a woman are wanted by police in connection with an attempted theft where a gas station clerk was hurt, according to a release by police. The pair attempted to leave without paying after their credit card was declined at Carroll Fuel Mart located along North Hanover Street in Carlisle on Jan. 3, according to Carlisle police. Police have asked the public for information after a man jumped over the counter at a Long Island bank and stole money. The incident happened at the TD Bank, located at 2025 Broadhollow Road in East Farmingdale, at about noon on Thursday, Dec. 2, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. Man Airlifted After Getting Trapped Under Tree In Sussex County: State Police
A man was airlifted to a local hospital after getting trapped under a tree in Sussex County Monday afternoon, state police confirmed. The victim became trapped at a home on Beaver Run Road in Wantage just before 2:35 p.m., NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice. Man Hospitalized After Being Hit In Head By Bat On Halloween In Hudson Valley
An area man was seriously injured after being hit in the head with a bat on Halloween. The incident took place around 8:45 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 31 on Fountain Place, in Poughkeepsie, said the City of Poughkeepsie Poice. When police arrived on the scene of the attack, they found a man who had been struck in the head with a baseball bat, police said. A man riding on a motorized bicycle has died following a car crash in Harrisburg, according to area police. The man was riding in the 300 block of South 29th Street on Thursday around 4:30 p.m. A preliminary investigation by police shows that the man veered into traffic and collided with a vehicle. Man Found Dead At Park In Area, Police Say
The body of a man was found at a park in the Hudson Valley by a passerby. The body was discovered around 4 a.m., Thursday, June 17, in Rockland County, at Spring Valley’s Memorial Park. The person who found the body called 911 and officers responded to the park where a bystander was attempting to perform CPR, said Spring Valley PD Detective Matt Galli. Man On Drugs Found Lying Face Down In Berks County Park, Police Say
A man lying face down in a Berks County park was found to be under the influence of drugs, police said. Officers responded to the entrance of the Goose Run Park, off Colebrookdale Road, on reports of a man lying face down in the grass around 3:30 p.m. on May 17, Douglass Township police said. The man was acting irrational and would go in and out of consciousness, and was found to be under the influence of drugs of synthetic drugs, police said. The officer escorted EMS who transported the male to the hospital for treatment. The incident remains under investigation.
