A New York congressional candidate running for the 16th Congressional District seat has paused his run in order to allow Westchester County Executive George Latimer to make a decision on whether or not he will pursue the seat. Melissa Grosman has found herself thrust into the role of military spouse. The Teaneck resident's husband, Gill, is serving in the Israeli Defense Forces, following the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas. A 19-year-old man from Bergen County remains missing, and New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy says he may be among the hostages taken by Hamas.
