Two men were nabbed by Connecticut State Troopers with guns and drugs during a traffic stop on I-84 on Sunday.
The men, Hector G. Martinez, 24, and Robert L. Ruiz, 37, both of Springfield, Mass., were passengers in a Ford Explorer that was stopped around 12:07 p.m. on I-84 in Danbury after a trooper clocked them going 81 miles per hour in a 55 zone, said Trooper First Class Kelly Grant.

Two City of Poughkeepsie residents were busted with fentanyl, guns, and cash during a warrant search by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force.
Anthony Melendez, aka Arnold Melendez, 33, and Quinshaya Melendez, 28, both of 100 Academy St., were busted following a search warrant executed as a result of an investigation into narcotics sales taking place in and around their home, said Frank Tasciotti, assistant coordinator of the task force.

Bridgeport Trio Nabbed With Guns, Drugs, State Police Say
A Bridgeport man and woman, along with a juvenile are behind bars following a warrant raid on their home that uncovered a cache of guns and drugs.
According to the Connecticut State Police, Jumail Walker, 40, if 551 Carroll Ave., and Schantel Sanford, 35, also of 551 Carroll Ave., along with the unidentified juvenile, were arrested on Feb. 22, following the execution of a search warrant at their home, said Sgt. Edward Benecchi.
