Yorktown Student-Athletes Sign Letters Of Intent Six Yorktown High School student-athletes made their college commitments official on Tuesday by signing letters of intent to play sports at their chosen colleges, bringing the total number of varsity athletes from YHS who will play on Division I and Division II teams in 2018-19 to 18. Mary Touhey, 55, a gym teacher in Yonkers is reportedly suing 33-year-old Manhattan resident Daniel Schapiro after she allegedly suffered a broken nose last September when the latter threw a golf club in anger following a bad shot.
