ICE Place Detainer On Undocumented DUI Driver Charged In Lakewood Double Fatal: Feds
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has placed a detainer on a 43-year-old man charged with killing a New Jersey mother and her 11-year-old daughter in a drunk driving, head-on crash last month, the agency said.
Raul Luna-Perez, 43, of Red Bank, entered the U.S. illegally at an unknown date and location. The agency said he had multiple prior arrests, including:
June 25, 2023, by Red Bank Police for simple domestic violence.
March 20, 2025, and April 17, 2025, for DUI, also by Red Bank Police.

A Hudson Valley man is facing felony charges after he was caught driving drunk with four children in the car, police said.
Ruben Fernandez-Urena, 34, of Yonkers, was arrested early Sunday, July 27, following a traffic stop on I-87 near Exit 9 in Tarrytown, according to New York State Police.
During the stop, Fernandez-Urena appeared intoxicated and failed multiple field sobriety tests, police said. A breath sample taken at the Tarrytown barracks reportedly showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.12%.
