Woman With Warrant Charged After Lexus SUV With Unreported Paint Change Stopped In Greenwich
A 35-year-old woman was arrested on a failure to appear warrant after being stopped for having the wrong color paint on her vehicle. Kadian Shamar Davis, of Greenwich, was arrested Monday on Greenwich Avenue after a registration check came back to a white Lexus wagon, but she was driving a black Lexus wagon, Greenwich Police said. When stopped, the VIN numbers matched the license plate registration, but Davis told officers that the registered owner had not reported the paint change to the DMV, which is required, police said.
