A Maryland man who stole a veteran's truck — with an ironically-named dog still inside — has copped to the crime in Pennsylvania, the Westmoreland County District Attorney's Office announced.
Kenneth Crider, of Poolesville, pleaded guilty to a host of charges in connection with an incident in September 2024 outside a Tractor Supply in East Huntingdon Township.
Specifically, Crider pleaded guilty to robbery, theft, receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, and flight to avoid apprehension on Monday, Aug. 25.

An 18-year-old man was killed after his car rolled down an embankment and struck several trees in Lowhill Township, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office announced on Monday, Aug. 25.
Cole D. Hausman, 18, of Weisenberg Township, was pronounced dead at 10:36 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24, at the scene of the crash in the area of State Route 100 southbound and Lyon Valley Road, according to the coroner.
