A Hackensack man already facing child endangerment charges has been arrested again — this time accused of assaulting a juvenile, authorities said.
Elijah E. Holder, 34, of Hackensack, was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 22, following an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Hackensack Police Department, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella,

A man pulled a knife on a gas station clerk during a robbery in Valley Stream, police announced on Sunday, Oct. 19.
According to detectives, Austin Harthman, 34, of Long Beach, entered the Valero Gas Station at 758 Franklin Avenue around 3:35 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18. Harthman caused a disturbance before brandishing a knife and demanding a lighter from a 25-year-old victim, police said.
The clerk, fearing for his safety, complied, and Harthman left without paying, investigators detailed.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, on Grand Avenue in West Hempstead, according to Nassau County Police. Strategic Response Team officers responded to a report that a firearm had been displayed.

At 6:19 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, police responded to South 10th Street and Springfield Avenue after a man, who had boarded an NJ Transit bus in Irvington, leaned around the protective barrier for the bus driver and spat on her face, hair, and clothing, Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. said.
